Sanctions and Reports
Sanctions
Under World Anti‑Doping Code Article 14.3, FIDE must publicly disclose anti‑doping rule violations (ADRVs) after notifying the athlete or other person. The table below lists all current and past FIDE sanctions. If there are none, please indicate “There are no sanctions in force at this time”.
| Athlete / Person (role) | FIDE ID or Nationality | ADRV (Article & substance/method) | Sanction (duration) | Start date – End date | Decision / Notice |
Note: For minors, protected persons or recreational athletes, FIDE may choose whether to disclose names and details. WADA maintains a Prohibited Association List; FIDE staff and athletes should consult it regularly.
